REWIND!
The 24-Hour Screenwriting Project *Virtual Fundraiser*
is BACK for a limited time only!
In 2020, the perennial favorite 24-Hour Playwriting Project took a twist for safety, but all the hilarity remained! Using the same premise as past projects, four writers have less than 12 hours to create a script for a short film. But they don't get their theme, props, costumes, effects, lines, or other information until 8 pm. And they have no idea who their director, cinematographer, or actors might be. Then these scripts are handed off to the director/cinematographers, who will meet their actors and have a few hours to work with their actors and film.
The result is absolute hilarity.
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, as we gear up to this year's 24-Hour Screenwriting Project, we are bringing back the entries from last year - and you can watch for a donation of any amount.
This event is also a fundraiser to support the theater - with Kinley Gomez winning Audience Choice and Darlyne Franklin winning the Critics' Choice award.
This event was produced following the theater's strict pandemic protocol. Further details are available on our website.
Thank you for your support of our award-winning theater! This year's 24-Hour Screenwriting project will be offered with both an in-person AND a virtual component on October 9th - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
